Since co-founding SIFA Strategy, Ben has advised a range of UK and International companies – public and private – as they look to embed ESG within their business. This has involved conducting materiality assessments and broader stakeholder audits; developing ESG strategies and targets; refreshing purpose & values; supporting on Social Impact assessments; conducting climate scenario risk analysis; drafting reports (TCFD, Sustainability etc); facilitating decarbonisation programmes; running senior-level training; improving governance and acting in a corporate secretariat role for various ESG Committees.

Previously, as an experienced C-suite corporate affairs director, who had sustainability within his remit, Ben advised Boards and senior management on a broad range of strategic, investor-related and operational issues. At CDC, the development financier, Ben was involved in understanding, quantifying and reporting the social impact of its investments. At Heathrow Airport, Ben was involved in the sustainable construction and opening of Terminal 5, climate considerations related to airport expansion and managing a complex, sensitive stakeholder engagement programme. At Carlsberg Group, Ben was responsible for helping embed sustainability within the business model and introducing an annual global stakeholder audit programme which assessed, among other aspects, sustainability performance.
